There is a myth going round that Trump's election divided the country. This is NOT true. The country has divisions -- that is true -- but the country is not divided. Most people are actually on board with Trump's essentially common sense policies. This includes his Wall, his "war" on illegal immigrants, and his partial Muslim ban, to name a few.

It is only a tiny but noisy Liberal elite, with disproportionate influence in the old media, that oppose Trump, and who try to create the impression that America is more divided than it is.

It isn't -- and the proof comes from a new poll conducted by UC Berkeley, hardly a bastion of pro-Trump thought, as the recent anti-Free-Speech riots against Milo demonstrated.

According to the poll, the vast majority of Californians -- yes, even Californians!!! -- strongly support Trump's position on defunding sanctuary cities that shield illegal immigrants from the Federal authorities. As reported by Breitbart
"Roughly 74 percent of California residents want to see an end to sanctuary city policies, according to a poll by UC Berkeley. The issue to end sanctuary cities in the state crosses racial and party lines, with 65 percent of Hispanics registering their agreement, while 70 percent of independents, 82 percent of Republicans, and 73 percent of Democrats feel the same."
What this means is that the Democrats have been abusing the enormous power they hold in California to impose extreme and destructive policies that their voting base simply does not agree with, implying that the party has effectively been hi-jacked by mad leftists.

This suggests that the party's dominance in California may in fact be hollowing out, preparing the way for a Republican resurgence there in the near future.
